Big Year for Beer

The year that InBev took over Anheuser Busch to become AB InBev was a milestone for the world’s beer industry.

Belgian-Brazilian brewer InBev (the second largest beer company in the world) acquired the iconic American brewer Anheuser-Busch (owner of Budweiser and the third largest beer company in the world).

The $52 billion deal created the world’s largest brewer and one of the top five consumer products companies in the world. We know all about it because The Communication Matrix wrote the company’s annual report that year.
