Millions of Trees for Madagascar

Millions of Trees for Madagascar

After 30 years of working with and listening to the poorest communities in Madagascar, Scottish charity Feedback Madagascar’s TreeMad project addresses the short and the long-term threats to the people, plants and animals of Madagascar, all by planting millions of trees. Trees are what hold the island together, literally.  If you plant the right ones they stop erosion, consume CO2, produce oxygen, provide sustainable fuel, fruit, nuts and livelihoods. And they also make vital forest corridors for the amazing animals that are unique to Madagascar – incredible treefrogs, chameleons and lemurs that can be found nowhere else in the world.  David Attenborough supports Treemad and so can you – plant a tree today!
